  135. DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE

  137. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying
  138. it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are

  164. development environment specified in the order.  One license must be
  165. purchased for EACH DEVELOPER who writes shareware for the licensee using
  166. the target development environment.  If you have three VB developers in
  167. your shop working on shareware, you need THREE OWShare licenses, even if
  168. only one developer "specializes"in "wrapping" the shareware shell onto
  169. the product functionality.

  171. Conversely, a one-person shop requires only ONE copy of OWShare, even if
  172. they release ten programs a year.
  173.  
  174. The licensee is free to use and to modify for use the product source
  175. code EXCEPT to produce a "shareware shell" product in competition with
  176. OWShare.  In addition, the licensee agrees not to divulge the methods
  177. used in the OWShare code to unlicensed third parties.

  179. TO CLARIFY, THIS MEANS YOU WILL NOT INTRODUCE A PRODUCT WHICH COMPETES
